We are partnering with a high-growth healthcare company expanding its clinical support team and seeking a Clinical Diabetes Specialist to support patients and providers across the Boston area.
This is a patient-facing role focused on education, training, and ongoing support for individuals starting insulin therapy and using innovative diabetes technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient education and training (in-office and virtual) for individuals starting insulin therapy
- Support patients using insulin pens and insulin pump technologies
- Assist with insulin dosing, titration, and therapy adjustments
- Partner closely with healthcare providers to improve patient outcomes
- Collaborate with sales representatives to support product adoption and patient success
- Help drive patient satisfaction, adherence, and retention
What You’ll Be Doing
- Working directly with patients to ensure successful onboarding and ongoing use of therapy
- Acting as a clinical resource for providers and office staff
- Supporting data collection and insights to improve outcomes and product utilization
- Playing a key role in bridging clinical care and commercial success
Qualifications
- Experience working with diabetes patients and insulin therapy
- Experience initiating patients on insulin pens and/or insulin pumps
- Ability to calculate starting insulin doses and make therapy adjustments
- Strong patient education and communication skills
- Comfortable working both independently and cross-functionally with sales teams
