Opportunity to join growing higher education EdTech company seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative / Account Executive in the Greater Tampa Bay, Florida area.
This role is focused on selling innovative digital learning and courseware solutions to colleges and universities. The ideal candidate will have a consultative sales approach and experience building relationships with professors, department leaders, and campus decision-makers.
Responsibilities
- Grow and manage a defined sales territory in the Greater Tampa Bay area
- Sell digital learning, courseware, and academic technology solutions to higher education accounts
- Build relationships with professors, department chairs, and campus stakeholders
- Conduct in-person and virtual sales meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations
- Drive new adoption and account growth through a consultative sales process
- Travel within the territory during academic semesters, including approximately 2–4 overnight stays per month
- Manage pipeline activity, follow-up, and territory planning to achieve sales goals
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary up to $90K+, based on experience

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2+ years of outside B2B sales experience required
- Higher education, EdTech, textbook publishing, courseware, LMS, or academic technology sales experience preferred
- Experience selling to professors, faculty, department chairs, or campus decision-makers is a strong plus
- Strong communication, presentation, organization, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated and comfortable managing a defined territory
