Higher Education Sales Executive - Detroit, MI

A growing higher education EdTech company is seeking a Sales Executive for Michigan.

This field-based role focuses on selling digital learning and courseware solutions to colleges and universities. Candidates must have higher education sales experience and understand faculty relationships, campus selling, and academic buying cycles.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage and grow the Michigan territory
  • Sell digital learning and courseware solutions to higher education accounts
  • Build relationships with professors, department leaders, and campus stakeholders
  • Conduct in-person and virtual meetings/product demos
  • Drive new adoption through a consultative sales process
  • Travel within the territory during academic semesters

Compensation

  • Base salary up to $90K+, based on experience
  • Tiered commission plan with $20K+ additional earning potential
  • Mileage reimbursement

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Higher education sales experience required
  • EdTech, textbook, courseware, LMS, or academic technology sales experience strongly preferred
  • Strong presentation, organization, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated and comfortable managing a territory
